Terrorists

Here in America, we just recently had an act of terrorism acted upon us. On September 11, 2001, four of our planes were hijacked by Arabs working under Osama bin Laden. Two planes were crashed into the World Trade Center, one into the Pentagon, and the last was taken out of their control by the passengers and crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. The group al-Qaeda was originally formed in 1979 to fight the Soviet Union's invasion of Afghanistan. However, it later opposed the American influence upon Muslim lands. Al-Qaeda attacked America and its allies in an attempt to get them to back off. America is working hard to prevent terrorism. Everywhere is more guarded and stricter, such as airports. The airports have more guards and inspection is more thorough, so you can't smuggle anything on board that shouldn't be there. Also, things like border patrol is becoming more tight to prevent illegal immigrants who might want to harm Americans from coming in.
